Was curious to see how the 2017 draft is looking in the top 15 and who is looking like a bust. If you had to rank the top 15 right now. From the draft:
1. Hischier
2.Patrick
3.Heiskanen
4. Makar
5.Pettersson
6. Glass
7.Andersson
8. Mittelstadt
9.Rasmussen
10.Tippett
11. vilardi
12. Necas
13. Suzuki
14. Foote
15. Brannstrom

Mine:

1. Hischier
2. Pettersson
3. Heiskanen
4. Patrick
5. Mittelstadt
6. Tolvanen
7. Vesalainen
8. Glass
9. Necas
10. Makar
11. Rasmussen
12. Vilardi
13. Chytil
14. Jokiharju
15. Tippett
...
16. Andersson
I know these rankings might be weird, but I think this is where they are in terms of value as a player right now. There are a lot of other players that are in the convo too, like Thomas, Lind, yamamoto, Frost, Poehling, liljegren, Hague and Timmins that could make the top 15 swell

How do you have Mittelstadt above Tolvanen?

also no way Lind makes it to top 15. Even in my extremely biased opinion, he'd still barely make it into the last part of the first round. Frost I would also put barely outside of top 20 at this moment.

There's no one that has been amazing enough to jump Heiskanen. Pettersson has matched Heiskanen's awesome play but that does not put him over Miro.
They go 2-3 or 3-4, depending on how much one values what Patrick has been able to do in the NHL.

Im oki if people ignore Vesalainen, he is our secret. It both hurts but at the same time good he left Frölunda. Sometimes Rönnberg is such a bonehead.

I saw him early last season when he was playing with Lundqvist; did all the right things, but the puck never got on his stick. Ever. Joel had them playing 4vs5, not the coach.

Too early for this list. Some types of players are under represented based on their skill set since people aren’t really watching. For example. Urho vaakananien played over 30 minutes for saipa of the top league in Finland in their final playoff game which led his team. He wasn’t really a point getter, but what he was in liiga was a #1 dman as an 18 year old. But he didn’t put up points so he won’t make any list. Maybe he’s not deserving, but I see carlo on a lot of 2015 top 15 redrafts and UV has a chance to be more dynamic

You are kidding right? It has only been 1 year since the draft.... No one is looking like a bust yet...
It's easier to tell every year, usually some players don't have a great d+1 season and a couple of those players eventually bust. It's just how the draft is shaping up rn. I'm sure it will look a lot different next year or at least a little different.

If the same teams are picking then Tampa is still taking Foote. He's done nothing to be dropped from where he was picked. He hasn't made the case to move into the top 10 but hasn't done anything to be passed over either.

I can already tell this thread is going to be full of people who made up their mind about Rasmussen a year ago and are either too lazy or too prideful to change it.

Dude is getting seriously underrated. He's had an excellent development season and is in the NHL next season.
Hmm I've heard quite the opposite from wings fans. He has 4 more points in 3 less games. So no. Not a great development year. He was a bad pick at the time, especially with Vilardi available, and he's an even worse pick now. He would not be in top 20 in redraft
