Probably to fit with the creation of the league on November 26 1917. Sadly the Windsor hotel was converted to office space a couple of decades ago.

We're about a month before more details known. But guessing: Seattle update; Quebec update; 2016-017 HRR report; Canadian $$; preliminary reports on upcoming outdoor games; report on Chinese preseason games; discussion of European games (including one this season), etc.

It's a GM meeting so the main focus will be the hockey product on the ice not off the ice. It's kind of weird that they did not schedule a BOG meeting instead for the 17.
