So next year in Laval, we can expect to see (and some risk to crack the NHL line-up out of camp):

McNiven, Lindgren, Lernout, Juulsen, Mete, Taormina, Bourque, Evans, Bitten, Verbeek, Pezzetta, Addison, Audette, Waked.

I saw

Classic Habs,

Unrelated, saw the Rocket play the Thunder last weekend, left thinking that the thunderbirds must be tippy top of the AHL based on the score. Got home to discover that I was mistaken, what a tire fire this season has turned into, no pressure no defense, no offensive presence, great finish to the 2018 season.

I would like to see them sign Cracknell and Terry. Those two, with Taormina, and hopefully Froese can be good veterans to help the young guys. Three of four vets, for me, should be enough, max five.

If they sign Cracknell, and as the rumors say, Habs are interested in signing Alexandre Alain, then the Laval center line could be: Cracknell, Evans, Alain, Audette with other options being Verbeek and Pezzetta.

Do we have a PTO left?I'd give it to Olivier Galipeau or make him sign a 1 way ahl contrat, either way I'd give the local kid a chance. He played great this year, more then a point per game, good defensive awareness, decent in size

He still is in the playoffs.

He definitely deserve a shot in the ahl. I hope the rockets sign him

What about having to use 51 different players, most of them ECHL caliber players at best ?

I want Lefebvre and his staff gone as much as the next guy but they had nothing to work with really.

There won’t be no changes before the AHL season ends, and possibly not before the Q playoffs and even Memorial Cup are over because Hbs might and should aim to hire Ducharme and Bouchard.

I could see firings happen after Laval's season is over. But if Habs do hire Ducharme and/or Bouchard, they will need to wait for the Major Junior playoffs to end and will possibly need to wait for the possibility that one of them will be off to the Memorial Cup.

Utica Comets: 51 players with 1+ games played
Laval Rocket: 48 players with 1+ games played

Utica Comets: 20 players with 10+ points (max 46)
Laval Rocket: 20 players with 10+ points (max 70)

Utica: 205 GF, 208 GA
Laval: 201 GF, 271 GA

Utica Goalies:
2nd year Thatcher Demko 44 games 2.44, 0.923 last year 2.68, 0.907
vet Richard Bachman 30 games 2.97, .902

Laval Goalies:
2nd year Lindgren 36 games 3.37 0.887 last year 0.914
3rd year Fucale 18 games 3.26, 0.890 usually around .900
Rookie McNiven 24 games 3.42 0.885

D with a positive +/-
Utica: 5 , 3 regulars
Laval: 3 (Jerabek, Bourque Schlemko) only 1 regular

Taormina was -30. His 2nd worst year is -7.

Coaching was definitely a factor. Pro scouting didn't help either, but it's quality and not quantity that sunk them.

I doubt that Ducharme's team makes it further then this round.

They are built for next year, their best players are 17 and 18 years old. They are not at maturity. Bouchard's team should make it at least to the final.s
