Anybody watching the game? Wondering how Kamenev is looking. Has an assist I see.
Stayed high in the zone to cover for a defender on the forecheck, puts it on net and Blais deflects it in.

Meloche had an assist on the first goal too on a nice breakout, so it was a nice game to watch for sure. Don't forget about him, he again played a lot of minutes and is looking good. Probably the steadiest progress I've seen of a D since I've been watching the AHL.
Yeah it's been both, out of need but they could lean on others more if they wanted to. Butler was back today and then there's Graves but Meloche saw a lot of minutes.Maybe it's because SA lost a lot of their defenders, but it seems like Meloche has worked his way into the coaches good graces down there. He seems to be getting much more ice time.
Other than what I posted the other week, he's not very noticeable. He kinda plays that middle pair defensive role. He's good at generating a few shots but the quieter he plays seems to be the better. So not really sure what they have in mind for him.How has Graves looked so far?
Not an AVS prospect obviously but does he look promising for a 6th round pick?Blais was good as well obviously scoring the goals.
Just watched the highlights looked like Kamenev couldve had 7 points. His puck protection skills look pretty damn good in the highlights aswell. He really is an interesting piece from the Duchene stimulus package...aswell as Shane Bowers, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Oh yah and Samwise Girard.

I like Blais, he's had some ups and downs but he's one of the most skilled players that's been on the team all season. He had 14 points in half a season in the Q when he was drafted, someone in St Louis must have really pounded the table to get him drafted and it was a good call. He might be a little soft for the NHL, I get the feeling Yeo isn't a fan but he can play that's for sure. Not an AVS prospect obviously but does he look promising for a 6th round pick?
Here's a bit of expanded highlight on that second Kamenev assist. There will be a shift by shift video later i can post if there's interest.
