From my understanding, Shea Theodore is going to have a huge role for the LVK...
Actually, the word on the Vegas HfBoards board is: He'll not be one fo the six starters and is unlikely to be the 7th dman unless a couple of trades are made.

He's a year away from starting.

The Knights simply have too many one-way contracts on the blueline.

The Jackets still have no idea about the open center spot until at least camp. Maybe there'll be a trade, or maybe Foligno or Jenner will do it, or maybe Dubois is ready for it. The rest of the roster is set, but not many of the lines yet.

Panarin-Wennberg
Jenner-Dubinsky-Atkinson

That's all that is probable.

Seems more and more like Drouin will center the top line and Galchenyuk will play wing.

Pacioretty - Drouin - Gallagher
Lehkonen - Danault - Galchenyuk
Shaw - Plekanec - Hemsky
Hudon - Mitchell - Byron

And I think the D will look like this:

Alzner - Weber
Schlemko - Petry
Benn - Davidson/Jerabek/Morrow

Jerabek is far from a lock in the starting six IMO. Much likely to start in the farm!

Even without Drouin, who I think is a better fit on the wing, there must be few teams who have better wingers than you guys. Counting on Gallagher bouncing back and Lehkonen picking up where he left off.

Yeah, we didn't tank and got Matthews, Marner and Nylander, I already know this.

I'm not expecting a big bounce back from Gallagher, to be honest. And unfortunately, our biggest hole is still the center position (well, LD too) and we'd need to give up one of our wingers to address just one of those holes.

Habs are probably looking like:

Pacioretty-Drouin-Gallagher
Lehkonen/Galchenyuk-Danault-Lehkonen/Galchenyuk
Byron-Plekanec-Hemsky
McCarron/De la Rose/Martinsen-Mitchell-Shaw

Schlemko-Weber
Alzner-Petry
Jerabek-Benn

For the Canucks, Gaunce is injured until November; expect Burmistrov to slot in to fourth line.

Neuvirth is better than Elliott.

Neuvirth can't stay healthy. You fart in his direction and he's out for six to eight weeks. As for Elliott, he had a rough start in Calgary, but he rebounded quite well. Elliott might not be as good technically as Neuvirth is, but he's definitely more stable and more consistent. I'll take Elliott every time.

For the Blackhawks:

0% chance Rozsival plays on the opening night roster. All indications are that he'll probably be placed on the LTIR and I'd expect he'll stay there the remainder of the year.

The second line LW is most interesting. DeBrincat has played with Kane and Schmaltz the last three days and has looked good. Their first preseason game is tonight but only DeBrincat is dressing.

Wingels has been hurt and has only started to resume skating so I'm not sure if he'll start the season.

based on practices and pregame lineups habs forwards and top 4 d are set as

Pacioretty-Drouin-Hemsky/Lehknonen
Galchenyuk-Danault-Gallagher
Hudon-Plekanec-Hemsky/Lehknonen
Byron-Mitchel- Shaw

Schlemko(inj)-Weber
Alzner-Petry

Unless a serious upset happens the only variation in this is seems to be the swapping roles of Hemsky and Lehkonen.

I have a request: add a time stamp for each team so we know when the last time they were updated.

I would understand if that would be too annoying though :)
