Now this is awesome - this would also be a fantastic design for a Capitals goalie.

We are very excited to unleash Jake Oettinger’s new Team USA mask for the coming Juniors Worlds

... Jake and I brainstormed a lot how to design this piece

. We wanted it to look old school and modern at the same time, with some subtle vintage effects, and also a sketch style in the details

✍. We wanted the design to live and breath the USA in every detail

. I made some test drawings and we saw it worked

Once again I can't help but notice that his masks for European clubs are way more subdued. I think that's because team names and logos are not as flashy or menacing. Look at these recent ones. I love them!

For a few years I've been going with the blue base and blue cage. @daveart told me about the new technology he uses for chrome, thats the new look I'm going for now.. Hope you guys like it. Kept this one pretty simple, a little Mets a little NYR.

Get rid of the thousands of oil drops and this is a solid mask .

Cam Talbot and I brainstotmed a lot for this new Oilers bucket

. We wanted to create a new look for Cam, a design theme we can build on and evolve mask after mask

. The base of the mask is built on the letters of Cam’s own logo. And as the true Storyteller it is

, the closer you come to the mask the more details you will discover and the saga is transformed in front of your eyes...

And when look really close you will find Cam’s buddy...

I hate the matte finish craze this season. Seems like 50% of all masks are matte. To me that type of finish is only good if like 2 or 3 guys have it, because that makes it stand out, when everyone has it, I just find it blah!
