I've always liked Russ, but I'm finding it harder and harder to defend him. He has such tunnel vision sometimes, it's ridiculous (unless he doesn't have the triple double yet). Melo was cooking last night but could barely get a pass.

And Billy D keeps Roberson on the floor all game, allowing them to just constantly double when Melo gets the ball. He left him on the floor for the last possession of 1st or 2nd OT when he could have brought him off. Melo gets the ball and they instantly double so he has to kick to PG who hasn't hit a big shot like that in his life.

They just don't have a fluid enough (or at all) offense to let Roberson stay on the floor. Russ doesn't even move when he doesn't have the ball.

I don't understand what CLE is doing. LeBron played 41:21 tonight in the 2nd game of a back-to-back and a 3rd game in 4 nights. Insanity. They are a playoff lock and it doesn't seem to matter whether they have home court in a series or not vs the Eastern teams.

Why would it be? There is no reason to win these games, if our team doesn't even make playoffs. Next season is our goal and Luka Doncic would really help us.

It's highly unlikely a team is going to start purposely losing games, especially this early. What do you want him to do? Stop playing the good players?

This is the thing with the NBA. Feels like you're just so unlikely to find a franchise changing talent outside the top 3 and being outside of that is like losing the wrong way.
