Bulls got their first win against Atlanta last night. Markkanen with double-double 14 pts, 13 rebounds. Whole trade could be huge robbery for Bulls if LaVine also success.

Torn ACL's are career changing, see: Rose, Derrick

Markkanen is playing good but let's wit until Mirotic is back and takes a lot of his minutes away?

I already think Niko sucks, but if Lauri keeps playing like this, there's absolutely no way and no reason for Mirotic to take away his minutes.

This Fultz thing is so strange. So they just let their first overall pick play injured, then his agent goes to the media, and now they say he's out indefinitely after being checked out by some specialists.

I’d never heard of this but after reading up a little bit, it sounds like something that can develop gradually and you wouldn’t necessarily know that it’s a problem. It’s not an injury per-se, more the result of training or some other repetitive use type thing.

Whether it developed as a result of Fultz changing his shot mechanics, or he changed his mechanics after starting to feel some pain, only he knows probably.

Tooting my own here but the Pistons beating the Clippers(who were the last undefeated team) and the Warriors(defending champs) on the road, on a back-to-back is mighty impressive.

And the Warriors shot nearly 60% although they had 25 turnovers. Bradley is making a real difference for them thus far with his energy, efficient offense and shutdown defense. Fun team to watch. The Lions on the other hand....

Whoa, 76ers win in Houston. Just another big night for Simmons and Embiid.

T-Wolves win another close game. They are 4-0 now with Butler in their lineup in close games.

Spurs really need Leonard to return. It's starting to show.

Been impressed by Detroit thus far as well. Some good talent on that team. If the Cavs continue to sputter the Pistons have as good a chance as anyone to win the East.

I really want to agree with this but I can't. There's just no way Detroit, a team with no identifiable recipe for success, is gonna be one of the top teams in the East at the end of the season.

Sabonis just went for 22 and 12 against the Spurs the other day and is averaging 13 and 10 on the season with a PER of 23. His worst games have all been the ones they've lost so it's not like he's out here putting up garbage time stats on a bad team.

Maybe he's actually good but just didn't seem like it last season because he was a rookie and they told him to stand in the corner while Westbrook chased triple doubles and the MVP award. I don't care about the Pacers but I thought he was pretty decent going into the draft and it's starting to show.

Hard to figure the Cavs out. I figured reuniting Lebron and Wade would be good news. Thus far it's anything but. They probably pick it up but if not, as I've said before, the East is going to become very wide open.

This probably won't last, but right now 4 of the top 5 and 8 of the top 16 scorers in the NBA are 6'10" or above.

I thought the trade wasn't as one-sided when it happened. Oladipo is a fine player in his own right, and Sabonis has big potential. Indiana did very well to recoup good, young players for a guy that was 100% leaving as a free agent.

I thought it was very one-sided and it still might be because of how low Oladipo and Sabonis' values were but I definitely overlooked how limited those two were because they played with Westbrook. It's still a small sample size but they both look like completely different players than last season.

Sabonis always looked like a guy with potential. My only issue with him on OKC was he never looked very assertive. Looked hesitant when he played.

Oladipo was bad with and without Westbrook. If he could've led the 2nd unit like he's playing right now, they wouldn't have crashed and burned when Russ hit the bench.

I know it won't last but it would be pretty hilarious if Cleveland didn't even make the playoffs. I know the rest of the East would welcome this.

Hezonja will finally escape the hell hole in Orlando. Morons are playing him at the 4 spot at times. He basically spent the least time playing his position while he was used in every position except center. How to ruin a top pick 101. FTR I think he has his warts as well, but they did everything to make the transition as tough as possible. Kings are one of the teams interested reportedly.
