The poll is open for four days so people who aren't here every day get a chance to vote, but I will start the next one when there is a clear winner.

#2 might be closer than you think.

I actually agree that it'll probably be closer than most think.

Three is really where this starts getting interesting though.

I don't know how in the world I am going to vote between 4 and about 13. I do know that I went against my emotions and voted Patrick over Bunny Man in this one, even though Bunny is a mortal lock first-ballot Hall of Famer in the making. (You heard it here first, or rather for about the millionth time.)

This list is incredible, there's so many options that at first I couldnť even find Patrick.

I love these prospects polls that we are running each year, thanks for that Curufinwe.

What's really incredible about this list is that it lacks...

24yo Shane Gostisbehere
24yo Sean Couturier
23yo Scott Laughton
20yo Travis Konecny
20yo Ivan Provorov

...

All of which are NHLers already. (You could argue about Laughton, but based on Hextall's moves in June, it's very clear what he thinks.)

That's ****ing mental.

Absolutely absurd list of prospects for a team that also has Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Couturier, Konecny, Provorov, Gostisbehere, and Gudas already on it.

If we don't win a Cup in the next 4-6 years I am going to be at a loss for words.

First, as others have stated. That list is ridiculous. My vote is for Nolan Patrick.

I've voted Sanheim #1 for the previous 3 years, but it's Nolan Patrick's day to steal my vote.

I do think Sanheim's ceiling is higher than Patrick's. It's just that Patrick is just so easily projectable as a classic, big, high-end, two way center that I can't pass on him.

Sanheim is so unique, and has the potential to be a scary dominant player imo. But I'll fall in line here and vote Patrick. Although for me, it's closer than it is for most.
