That's why I'm not worried. We haven't really had a problem moving the football today. The missed FG and fumble were big. Otherwise we could be up 13-3 or something on them.

Redskins IIRC also get the ball to start the 2nd. Just keep the momentum going. Detroit's D hasn't done much to stop us today.

Eh it was a bad half but they are tied and the Redskins get the ball. Hopefully they finish a few drives off this half.

I guess so...

Skins are now competing against the Lions, bad luck and themselves. Hard to over come all three.

Norman knocked out on that one it looks like.

And Kerrigan tackled by the RT before the pass was thrown. No call.

Its one of those games.

Norman probably concussed. Eyes were glazed even as he was rolling limp

That really sucks for Norman. Damn. Huge acquisition this year and if he's banged up it hurts an already depleted secondary corps.

NFL announcers won't even admit the possibility of a concussion. Just talk about his shoulder hitting. Shameful coverage of head injuries by the league.

NFL announcers have long been discouraged from speculating about any injury. It's probably partly out of respect for the player's family, partly to avoid misinformation influencing in-game gamblers, and partly for legal reasons. And if I was a player or coach I wouldn't want announcers making any diagnosis that might somehow stick or get into the rumor mill.

The fact that they talk about concussions at all when players are knocked down/out is actually progress.

The spent plenty of time speculating about his shoulder. They didn't once talk about his head until it was revealed he was going thru concussion protocol.

Thompson and Kelly carry the football without fumbling it, and also pick up massive yardage too.

How they don't start over Jones is beyond me.
