Any early predictions as the new year begins?

No real specific predictions, but they did just release this year's first RPI rankings (http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/icehockey-men/d1/rpi), which gives us an idea of who is in good shape to at least make the regionals. Not surprisingly, the NCHC, ECAC and Hockey East all have a strong presence.

I will say that St. Cloud is loaded in every position, and arguably plays in the best conference. Plus, they don't take very many penalties, which is obviously important when special teams become more critical. But anything can happen when it's single-elimination.
