I will be really happy to see the Habs finish with 106 pts. this season, have zero injuries, great rookie yrs. from Lehkonen, McCarron, Scherbak & Sergachev. While the Habs also are the stingiest team on defence, best 5 on 5 possession numbers & top five on both PP & PK, that's all I want in the regular season. Everyone knows my expectations for the Playoffs, just two trophies the Conn Smythe & Stanley Cup, they deserve those with their work ethics.:nod::nod:

I highly doubt all of Lekhonen, McCarron, Scherbak and Sergachev make the team. I can see one of the forwards making it. Unless Sergachev has an amazing camp I would send him back to Windsor for his final year of Junior. He'll get a lot of playing time plus playoffs and the Memorial Cup. It can't hurt him.

The rest is a pipe dream. I want to see the team win a Stanely Cup but I just don't see it happening with MT.

Galchenyuk 31 goals 46 assists 77 points
Pacioretty 39 goals 32 assists 71 points
Radulov 27 goals 42 assists 69 points
Weber 15 goals 44 assists 59 points
Plekanec 18 goals 37 assists 55 points
Gallagher 22 goals 25 assists 47 points
Markov 5 goals 40 assists 45 points

I just cant see Gallagher with only 47 points let alone get outscored by Plekanec. Gallagher was on pace for 60+ points last season.

Radulov 27 goals 42 assists 69 points

Gallagher 22 goals 25 assists 47 points
Markov 5 goals 40 assists 45 points
Remove 10 assists from Galchenyuk and add them to Radulov.

Add 5-10 goals and 5 assists to Gallagher.

Remove 5 assists from Weber. Add them to Plekanec. He will play with Radulov.
Add 8 goals and 5 assists to Gallagher.

BTW, Beaulieu with at least 30 points. Same with Lehkonen, Shaw and DD.

Lehkonen is the one to do it.

McCaron, Scherback are playing in AHL until TDL.
McCaron is near to NHL.
Scherback we have no idea how he is going to pan out.

Consider also Hudon and maybe Reway.

Sergachev: going after Memorial Cup.

I have high expectations for Radulov, but people should expect him to be more of a playmaker than a goal scorer. I'm not expecting 30G from him. 20 might be fair.

I think 30 is fair. He had 26 goals in 81 games as a 21 years old and he just kept getting better.

15 forwards scored 69 points or more last season, you are projecting the Habs to have 3 of them. Only the Washington Capitals had that last season.

Essentially you are projecting Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov to be the best offensive line in hockey. While Markov-Weber is one of the best offensive defenseman pairing in hockey on top of it.

Likewise, if the first 3 forwards get so many offensive minutes to score this much, it would be doubtful the second liners would manage the performances you have them hitting, if for lack of PP time if nothing else.

This is the peril of projecting a player's upside as their actual performance.

I'd guess Galchenyuk or Pacioretty. Galchenyuk has the advantage of being a center.
Radulov could be he dark horse.

That adds up to 262 goals. The Habs haven't reached that total in a long time. As or Beaulieu scoring 11 goals, maybe in his entire career if he's lucky.

Pacioretty will have a career season.

Watch him this year, he'll be back on top of his game.

40 goals +
