Figured I might as well throw a thread together for this since we have a couple prospects going to the finals in their conference and others that will be going to the national tournament later in the month.

Dillon Simpson's game starts in less than 10 minutes.

I'll try to post a stream if I find one.

Evan Campbell scored in UMass-Lowell's 4-0 to advance to the ECAC final tomorrow.

Joey Laleggia had a goal on a wrister from the point and helped Denver to move on the NCHC final.

John McCarron was held pointless and eliminated by one of the best teams in the nation, Union.

Yeah, that's the wrong guy to turn it over to.

9 goals in his last 9 games. Pretty wild.

Pretty nice play by Simpson on that hit in the corner. He couldn't really do much on the goal.

Simpson has been pretty impressive.

You can see the size, skating, hands and hockey IQ.

I love how he avoids the forecheck. Just casually skates away from it and makes a nice pass.

That's good to hear that we have D-men with some IQ. I scoffed at and dismissed Simpson a while back, but I hope he can turn out to be a gooder

NoDak ices the puck with 30 sec left in the 2nd and Miami scores right off the draw.

Not looking good for Simpson.

Miami's goalie has been a brick wall.

NoDak loses 3-0 and Quinnipiac just lost 3-2 to Colgate in double OT.

Damn. I was really banking on them to move on.

Ah, I didn't realize there's a consolation game. Western Michigan and North Dakota play for that at 2:30pm MST tomorrow.

Denver and Miami in the final at 6:30.

so, the winners of each conference all go to the frozen four, right?

not sure how the format works

I believe the winner of the each six conferences playoff gets placed automatically into the NCAA tournament. Ten other teams are voted in by a committee.

The first two rounds are on March 28-30.

Frozen Four on April 10th.

Championship on April 12th.

With all the upsets, it looks like North Dakota might actually be on the outside looking in. Quinnipiac and UMass-Lowell might be the only ones to make it of our prospects' teams.
