Clearly they just put this year's tank on hold so they could use it for him.

If anyone really wants some hockey to watch user DrPabloRamirez posted three games he shot from the recently completed U18 Ivan Hlinka Tournament. Included are the aforementioned Nylander, Ekblad and McKeown along with Sam Bennett, Spencer Watson, Jake Virtanen, Michael Dal Colle, Nick Schmaltz, Jared McCann, Haydn Fleury, Robby Fabbri, Brayden Point and more. Team rosters here. Also starring Dale Hunter behind Canada's bench.

I have a mancrush on Draisatl. Kid is so much fun to watch.
Yeah, a special player for sure. I might even rank him first overall.

Early on it looks like it may shape up to be a very forward-rich first round.

So far one player that stands out just from Reading is C Alexis Pepin (Charlottetown, QMJHL). Projected for 2nd round by most, 6'2", 238 lbs.

Also in the same category: 6'3", 225 lbs C Alex Tuch.

Sam Bennett's another guy I really like....strong motor, skilled and an agitator. This class is pretty heavy on lefty wingers overall, though, and it's not much of a need should Kuznetsov come over and Burakovsky has a big year.

As far as potential LD fits go Fleury & Martin bring a lot to the table. In the neverending center watch I like McCann.

Early on it seems like a decent enough crop but given the pipeline and overall circumstances it might be a year to move their first in a package for a non-rental 2LD (assuming they're highly competitive).

I think C is an obvious need.

Would love it if Caps got Ritchie. Yeah, it means missing the playoffs but still. Would be fin to watch on the line with Wilson.

Any defensive Dmen that can step in immediately in the top 4(outside of Ekblad)?

No clue where we'll be drafting lol. I like Draisiatl and Ritchie. If we end picking where we usually have by the end of the year I like Ho-Sang, Vrana, Fleury, Tuch.
