I had a freak out moment for a second... I thought you put Tyler Wotherspoon's date to come back was April 1st of next year. I was going to be pissed if that was the case.

I hope Bennett's groin injury isn't a lingering issue. He missed a half dozen games last year in Kingston because of a groin injury. I think it was also one of the injuries cited as why he didn't play in the U-18 at the end of the season as well.

Sam Bennett was in getting an X-Ray today. Source is my co-worker who also is a Ref for the WHL for what it is worth. Hopefully just precautionary.

Are you sure it was an X-Ray, or was it an MRI which would of likely been for his groin?

Maybe he took his feline friend for a cat scan. Lost one of it's 9 lives.

^ Yep. Well, I think that pretty much tells you that Sam's body is not ready for the NHL just yet. No knock on him, he'll be ready next year.

Yeah. The type of game he plays, much like Taylor Hall, will lead to these kinds of injuries.

Really best to let him develop in junior I guess.
