Gonna be a lot of new faces on Team USA in four years. It just depends on how the players from these past few juniors tournaments pan out in the NHL. I think Cole, Gionta, Gomez, Leopold, Liles and (Ryan) Miller will be there. There are lots of guys in the mid and early 30s...don't know how long many of them plan to play. And I can't imagine we'll see a 48 year old Chris Chelios either.

Would be great if you guys could think of the possible line-ups.

:biglaugh: Ahhh...you still have the false hope that Chris Chelios won't be there. :sarcasm:

Drury will probably still be around, Connolly will definitely be there.

I doubt Connolly will be there. Drury probably.

Dustin Brown, Rob Schremp, Zach Parise, Patrick O'Sullivan, Bobby Ryan will most likey will be new faces added to the offense. Maybe even Phil Kassel.

On defense, i gotta imagine Jack Johnson makes it. Paul Martin i think will be there. Liles and Leopold definetly will return.

Al Montoya, DiPietro and Ryan Miller in net.

I don't know for lines though. Guys from current team i think will stay on: Drury, Cole, Blake, Gomez, Gionta. But that's probably it.

Derian Hatcher will be on defense, to the bewilderment of everyone. Probably captain too. :biglaugh:

Fisher? I mena, hell, I love the guy, even as a Leafs fan, but I'm not sure if he's Olympic calibre (maybe as the two-way forward that Gretzky always seems hell-bent on getting in).

I'd put Horton in before Fisher though.

Would you like their stats for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010-to-break as well?

i'm gonna be a homer and ask about form Ohio State player RJ Umberger, C for the Flyers now he is in his rookie season i believe and has 10-11 in 49 games so far, do you think he can make the team in 2010?

also what about Fritsche brothers Dan is a F for the CBJ and has played for Sarnia and led them on a playoff run this year before coming up to the big club his brother Tom was on the 2006 USA World Jr. roster and is a F on the Ohio State hockey team this year.

The D should be strong for the US. Hard to tell who will seperate themselves. I dont know if 4 years ago people gave Leopold and Liles much of a chance. So guys like Carle and Goligoski could surprise from the college ranks. i see on D lots of choices.
Jordan Leopold
Jonh-Micheal Liles
Paul Martin
Keith Ballard
Matt Carle
Erik Johnson
Jack Johnson
Alex Goligoski
Ryan Suter
Ryan Whitney

Also AO is in the Olympics. I am not going to speculate on which 16-17 year olds are going to step way up. Someone will surprise in 4 years
