</p>The Carolina Hurricanes’ 2010 draft easily goes down as the team’s best since it moved to North Carolina. Six of the eight players selected have played an NHL game, and three are already key players with their respective teams.
You could even argue that Carolina’s selections of Jeff Skinner (seventh overall), Justin Faulk (37th) and Frederik Andersen (187th) make for the best-balanced draft of the past 20-plus years.
Need proof? You would be hard-pressed to find any team that selected a 30-goal scorer, a top pairing defenseman and a starting goalie in one draft year.… read more
