No worries S. I'm sure they'll be back up soon.

Looks like this is STILL an issue. Hopefully things will be working later today. I'm planning on simming between 5-6 EDT if everything is working OK.

EDIT - The Yahoo Group is working fine now and I've download all the lines files I'll need for tonight. If you update your lineups between now (1:30PM EDT) and game time (5-6PM), please post a note here or they won't be used.

Nice to tie up the series 1-1 I'd have really been sweating if I'd had to go to Florida down 2-0 in the series. Lot of 2-0 series actually. Calgary has to be feeling hard done by, thats a tough was to be down 2-0. What happened to the Blues? and Rich looks like breaking that 1st round jinx. Leafs for a big upset? and poor poor Dion, when he finally puts 4 past Luongo, DiPietro decides to self destruct. :nopity:

Leafs for a big upset?

The real upset here is that due to some technical diffculties on our part we had Roloson in net for the first game which he happened to win! We've decided to go with Rolly until he looses his hot pads so now hes getting the third straight start over Vokoun!

Hey, if he can get Edminton to the finals maybe he can do it for us huh? Also, there's another potential plot twist for your Backstrom trade story Drew :naughty:

BTW, did you guys know that Backstrom resulted in 3 goalies moving? Backstrom went to CGY, Roloson went to TOR and Denis went to CAR... all playoff teams! Let's hope Denis can help you out of this slump Dion...

Yeah, I put Vesa back in for you. It is early, but I forewarned everybody about that in both email and on these boards.

It doesn't help with the fact that I only have one player that has an OV of 80 or over.

It kind of makes sense though...for sell outs/etc. not to be tied to the city. It should be dependant on the team. But still...my team has been #2 in the west the last two years and I don't think I've ever had a sell out unless the Blues are in town.

Standings and performance don't seem to have much of an influence on the whole thing. It's not the ticket prices for sure...they are not high I think.

My prices are low, its the playoffs, AND IT"S MINNESOTA.

I just don't get it. (Thanks Sean for putting Vesa in....didn't mean to imply you hadn't told us...sorry)

I hear your pain, Greg. I couldn't even sell out during the Stanley CUp Finals a couple of years ago, and my prices were not high. In addition to the 80+ rated players component, attendance is partly tied to performance, and in particular streaks -- roll off a good 5 or 6 wins in a row, and you'll be playing to a packed house against most teams, playoffs or not. Laurens is right, though - your Wild are in Minnesota in name only: none of our cities reflect anything like local market conditions. The only difference from city to city is the number of seats in our arena.

Flames Face Elimination

Calgary (CP): Tonight, the Flames face elimination from the first round of play-offs against the Detroit Red Wings. Down 3-0 against one of the best regular season performers in the HFNHL, the Flames need a miracle to make a come-back and win this series. "I don't care about the series, can we just win one game?" quipped veteran Stu Barnes after the worst loss of the series, a tight checking 3-1 game that the Flames never looked like winning.

"It's simple. Their goaltender has been better than ours, and our so-called potent offense needs a shot of Viagra" Barnes noted. Instead of feeling disparaged, goaltender Niklas Backstrom agrees. "I agree. He's (Lundqvist) been great and I let in some soft ones in game 3. I'll be better."

Lundqvist has been hot, leading the HFNHL goaltenders in SAA% (.940) and GAA (1.39). But Backstrom has held his own until Game 3. Then it all seemed to fall apart, right when the Flames needed him to bounce back. A physical series that emerged in game one and two became decidedly pedestrian as the Flames turned instead to a tight checking approach that failed.

Backstrom has denied being tired after the Game 2 double overtime marathon which looks to have crushed the teams spirit. "We'll bounce back. We're a veteran group. If we don't, I think we can all be looking for work elsewhere next season." Barnes noted.

NOTES: The Flames offense has turned anemic. They have yet to score on the PowerPlay.... The Flames look to juggle the lines tonight. Vaclav Prospal will move to the top line and Datsyuk will be moved to left wing.... Aaron Johnson, a healthy scratch in game three, will move back into the line-up at the expense of Brandon Bochenski.... Milan Jurcina remains in the line-up despite struggling while David Hale will continue to watch from the side-lines... Reports emerged on TSN that GM Matthew Kershaw and new head coach Brent Sutter have drawn up plans to create a more physical, playoff team next season that will see high-scoring but lightweight Europeans Vaclav Prospal and Milan Hejduk being moved in the off-season.

Minnesota, behind the stellar work of Vesa Toskala in net and a double OT goal by Matt Carle, tied their series with Dallas at 2 with a 3-2 win.

How even is the series? After 4 games, each team has 9 goals.

After that horrible regular season, this already feels like winning the cup for me.. But luckily the players still have a lot to give and are ready to go deep in the playoffs.. :D

Next up Stars.. I hope I can find a way to score on Kipper.. During the season both teams won at home. 6-4 in goals and 56-46 in shots in favour for Colorado. Morrow and Crosby both scored 2 goals in those games. 32-27 in penalty minutes.
