Does anyone know if there's already a ranking for the 2007 draft?
If so, is Angelo Esposito ranked #1?

To which NHL player would you compare him?

Esposito looks like a better skatings, more explosive Mike Ribeiro. He is a better skater with better scoring and more explosive offense.

What he said. This should guarantee him at least a top 5 selection in 07. He`s definitely the favourite so far. He`s also an inch or two bigger than Ribs and doesn`t seem to possess that cockiness.

No love for Vancouver Giants import Michal Repik, who is a very late 1988 (born on New Year's eve) and who is the top rookie scorer in the Dub at the moment (12 goals and 15 assists in 24 games)? He had better stats as a 16 years old in the Czech U20 Extraleague than Frolik at the same age.

Also from the same team, watch out for Jonathan Blum, a 89 born d-man from California, who has 4 goals and 4 assists and a +2 rating so far. The kid had to overcome some real tragedies in the last few years (his twin sister died in a house fire 2 years ago and his mum is battling cancer) but has been playing way beyond his years so far.

Both will (most likely) play in the MC tournament in their draft year, since the Giants will host it in 2007.
