Below are updated stats on the best (statistically speaking) 2005 draft first-time eligible CHL prospects. Criteria for inclusion are (liberally): Forwards- 0.45+ ppg, Defensemen- 5 or more pts OR .033 ppg+ ratio, Goalies- either .900+ SVP or -3.00 GA (min. 3 gp).

I will update this every week. If I miss someone let me know.

By the way, defensemen in particular don't necessarily show up well on stat sheets. I'm interested in knowing of first-time draft eligible defesemen (Sept. 16/86- Sept. 15/87 B-date) who are nonetheless playing big (top 4 in the rotation)minutes for their teams but are not putting up points (yet).

These would include the likes of Kindle, Heshmaptour, Lashoff (injured), Jackson (Seattle), Mikkelson (Portland) etc.

More?

Oscars Bartulis in Moncton is logging HUGE ice-time, mostly paired with Nathan Saunders (ANA). He is putting up some points, but I thought it would be worth recognizing that he is the team's #2 d-man this season it has seemed.
