It's the red, white and black early-edition forward-facing (cross-eyed) sens logo with the original on the arm-sleeve. It has some rents and wear... It is 17 years old, bought in 1998 at a home game when I lived in Stittsville. It still looks good!!! ... but there are not many others in Victoria BC to compare it with.
It has traveled from Canada to Uganda three times, including a one-year stint where it was washed daily with raw bar-soap by hand on banana plantations on the border of Uganda the Republic of Congo. It was excellent mosquito repellent; little ****ers had trouble with the bulk of the jersey. Long-sleeves plus repellent made it my go-to evening attire regardless of the humidity and heat.
This jersey has seen it all and still remains in great condition; I wear it each game-day if possible.
To this date, it has no number or name on the back. I plan of getting it numbered tomorrow. It will be nostalgic and fun.
I'm curious to know what others might choose in similar circumstances.
