I think 50 is a more realistic goal for him right now. He's not even on pace for 60 at the moment.

And all things considered, if Bratt got 50 points this season that would still be f***ing bonkers.

50 points when nearly everyone thought he would be in London this season. Hell, 30 points that he already has. It's lunacy.

I love Bratt! Calm and cool with the puck, good shot, elusive, defensively responsible there isn't anything missing. Your not supposed to be a complete player at 19.

I'm so excited to see his career progress.

Only negative thing...I'm still very unaccepting of that #63 though.

Agreed, it's amazing that 1. He's as complete as he is at 19, and 2. That he was a 6th round pick two drafts ago. Still can't get over that.

And I like 63, it's kinda fitting. 162nd overall pick, 1+62=63.

I think he’s probably exhausted. I assume this is the most games he’s played in a season? The grind for a kid coming out of the “Swedish ahl” has to be a tough adjustment.

However, I do think he is playing better in limited minutes so maybe that’s the strategy we have moving forward with him.

This is definitely more games than he has ever played, at a higher level than he has ever played. I definitely agree that he needs to be playing further down the lineup with a more simple type of game and staying away from top defenders for a while to get his groove back.

he looked good enough last night that i’m not worried about him long term. the skill is still there and if they manage the mental side he’ll be fine. even if they limit his role for the rest of the season the kid is gonna he a player for us

hes played much better in a more limited role with less responsibilities.

i still have no confidence in him winning a puck battle or when a player is strong arming him. he is too much of a bystander/pushover at times and it causes a lot of problems with a strong forechecking team. that will come with maturity and strength. not worried about him long term.

We all keep forgetting he's just 19 so he still has plenty of "growing" left in him.

One thing is for sure, though : The Kid's going to have to hit the weights in the offseason.

He's been playing well for a while now. He's still working hard and making the right plays, but his execution has been off.

It seems like he's lost some of his skill over the course of the season. I've seen a lot of players/coaches elude to this saying how they get fewer puck touches when the season picks up and there's more games and less practices.

On top of that, the slashing, holding, and interference has picked up and teams have tightened up defensively. Bratt's best asset early on was his ability to navigate tight areas with the puck. It gets a lot harder to do that now.
