No stamina, and now injury prone. What a bust this kid turned out to be.

is this fair value?
to philly: hischier, 2018 1st round pick
to nj: michael raffl
why? nj rids itself of an injury prone bottom 6 forward. PLUS we get raffl, a speedy left winger with elite penalty killing abilities. boom

nico + hall + 2019 1st + 2020 2nd for elias pettersson
Gotta do that in a heartbeat. I don't think they'd do that deal though.
My favorite clip of Hischier from this past season was easily this in his first game. Stuff like this coming from an 18 year old in his first game has to turn some heads in the locker room.
Exactly. At 19 you can bulk up just by eating.

So awesome
I love how Hall circles back like oh **** that's Nico in there, I better get in there for him.
I love to Nico
I think of it more like Hall realizes that Nico didn't hesitate to step in and stick up for a player in his first NHL game against a pretty big dude in Johnson.
Those are the kinds of things from an 18 year old that makes the veterans better. Even something like Hischier playing a total 200 foot game. It must make Hall realize 'if this kid is doing it, I have no excuse not to do it'.
yea, I should've said for/with him
either way, what a way to start his NHL career. Showing how much he cares about his team right off the bat and then his actual play followed suit the entire year, being and incredible presence on both ends of the ice. Man, I may have drank a little bit (a lot) tonight but I'm still so happy we have Nico. Before last year's draft I kept thinking how awesome it would be if he fell just a little bit. But no need, he's a Devil!
Compare that with a Marchand. Great player but what parent wants their kid to admire him?
sumo is a sportYou can at 37 too, just not in a sports kind of way.
