We have an eight team free ESPN H2H Fantasy Point keeper league that we are adding a dynasty minor league system as well. We have one opening left. We also give extra points for hits & blocks, so defensive players have a bit more value than normal. We also have large rosters. 9 Forwards, 4 D, 1 UTIL, 4 Goalies (but you can only start 2 max per day) + bench/IR slots. There are weekly max's of 53 games for skaters & 7 per week for goalies. No playoffs & auto draft.

For the dynasty minor league, we have used the same model for 20 years in our baseball league. For hockey, we'll have two separate 24 player drafts will take place a month or so into the season, so Bedard will most likely not be eligible. One draft will be guys from this past draft. The second draft will be for guys drafted in the prior years. To be eligible, players cannot have played in the NHL.
Once we have the minor league players drafted, those players will stay property of those owners for three years after the make their NHL debut. Once they hit three years, you either move them to a permanent keeper slot for these minor league guys or drop them. We also do the same thing each year where you draft three new guys, but in the future you will be able to draft guys like Bedard since we'll draft shortly after the regular NHL draft each year.
From using this system in baseball it adds a lot of fun to the league and you get to know more players than you probably would have normally. It is a lot of fun.
