Who is going to be in the NHL from the 03 and 04 drafts?

Besides the obvious players (OVechin, Malkin - if contract gets disputed, Bergeron, Horton, Staal, Zheredev, etc...)

  2. Obviously Bergeron. Our GM hinted that after his spectacular season, he'll be centering the third line, which won't put a lot of pressure on him.

Stuart was signed by Boston, so he'll have a shot at training camp.

Can't see anyone else from Boston's '03 and '04 draft picks playing.

If Volchenkov does, in fact, stay in Russia, then Andrej Meszaros could play with the Sens.

Also, Patrick Eaves could play a role on the 3rd and 4th lines.

Perry and Getzlaf will each get some time in Anaheim.

Smid could make the team with a great training camp.

Carolina will give Danny Richmond (03) and Andrew Ladd (04) serious looks in camp. I doubt either will make the team this year and would prefer to see both in the AHL this year, but they'll have a good look in camp.

The Rangers have four players who might see some time during the year, but seem to be long shots for opening night...

    2004 - Al Montoya
2003 - Hugh Jessiman, Ivan Baranka, Nigel Dawes

I can see them getting callups, but not likely to win roster spots. Next year maybe

Michalek will play in San Jose. There's an off-chance we'll see Matt Carle in an NHL jersey this season, as well. Actually, that chance just shot up now that Mike Rathje is a Flyer.

Ryan Suter should be in Nashville, this year.

    Chicago

GM says that Bolland will get a good look at the training camp, only thing really holding him back is getting stronger.
